Award-Winning Canadian Jazz Trumpeter Mike Field Wraps Up High-Energy Germany Tour
GERMANY — Acclaimed Canadian jazz artist Mike Field has just concluded a whirlwind seven-city tour across Germany, bringing his signature upbeat style, vibrant compositions, and dynamic stage presence to enthusiastic audiences throughout the country.
The Summer Tour 2024 kicked off in Zirndorf on May 3 and continued through Freinsheim, Hürth, Erlenbach, Gundelfingen, Pirna, and Riesa, with Field performing at some of Germany’s most respected jazz venues, including the Beavers Club, Kleinkunstbühne Pirna Q24, and Jazz-Club Hürth.
“This tour was big, but it was a blast,” said Field. “Germany always shows up with amazing crowds, beautiful towns, and great energy. Every night was a celebration of connection through music.”
A standout moment came in Pirna, where Field’s performance at Q24 was spotlighted by the Sächsische Zeitung in a May 6 article:
